See what the internet
currently says about you.

We will check your business against the search, map and directory surfaces your customers use, and send you what we find.

Most owners have never seen this view. The usual reaction is mild surprise: an old phone number still sitting on a directory nobody remembers signing up for, hours that were right in 2023, a second pin on the map from a previous address.

Costs nothing. Human-reviewed, with email follow-up. For businesses in Canada and the United States.

  • What it costs

Nothing. There is no card and no trial.

  • How long it takes

    Reviewed by a person.

  • What you get

A plain-language report on where you appear and where the details disagree.

  • What happens after

Nothing you do not ask for. If it comes back clean, we say so.

While you are here

A quick self-check,
right now.

The real scan is reviewed by a person. This one takes a minute because you run it.

Six questions about how your business information is currently handled. It will not tell you what any platform holds, because it cannot see them. What it will do is tell you whether the conditions for drift are present, which is usually the more useful question.

To be completely clear about what this is: it scores the answers you give it. It does not look your business up.

Six questions. About sixty seconds.

  1. 1When did you last look at your business on Google Maps as a customer would? Not the dashboard. The public result.
  2. 2Has the business moved, changed its phone number, or changed its name in the last three years?Including a second number, a new suite, or a rebrand.
  3. 3Do you know who controls your Google Business Profile today?Admin access, not just the ability to reply to reviews.
  4. 4Have you ever searched your business name and found a listing you did not create? An old address, a misspelled name, a duplicate pin on the map.
  5. 5Do the contact details on your website match your Google profile exactly?Same phone number, same suite number, same opening hours.
  6. 6When your hours change for a holiday or a busy season, what happens?Think about the last long weekend.

Nothing you select here is sent anywhere or saved. The result is worked out in your browser from your own answers.

What the real scan
actually checks.

We take the details you give us and compare them against what the supported surfaces currently publish for your business. Then we tell you where those two things disagree.

It is deliberately narrow. This is a presence and accuracy check, not a ranking audit and not a sales report dressed up as a diagnosis.

  • Where your business currently appears

Which of the supported search, map, directory and app surfaces hold a record for your business today, and which hold nothing at all.

  • What those records say

The business name, address or service area, phone number and hours on each record, compared against the details you gave us.

  • Where they disagree with you

The specific mismatches. An old phone number, a previous suite, a name spelled differently, hours that were changed in one place and not another.

  • Likely duplicates and near-matches

Records that look like your business but are not quite it. These are the ones that quietly split your presence and send some customers somewhere else.

  • Gaps worth filling

Surfaces where your business does not appear yet but reasonably could, given your category and country.

  • What needs you rather than us

Anything that requires owner action, account access or platform verification before it can be corrected by anyone.

What it will not
tell you.

We would rather set this out before you ask for it than after.

A scan is a useful starting picture. It is not a complete audit of everywhere your business is mentioned on the internet, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.

  • It is not a ranking report

The scan looks at whether your information is present and correct. It does not tell you where you place in results, and nobody can promise you a position anyway.

  • It is a moment in time

It reflects what those surfaces published on the day we ran it. Records change, publishers update on their own schedules, and a clean scan today is not a permanent state.

  • It does not cover the whole internet

It covers the supported surfaces available for your country and business category. A mention on a forum, a blog or a niche site outside that set will not appear.

  • Some things need access first

Ownership, verification status and anything behind a platform account cannot be confirmed until access is in place. The scan will say where that is the case rather than guess.

  • It does not fix anything

A scan tells you what is wrong. Correcting it is separate work, whether you do it yourself or ask us to.

Request the scan

Tell us where
to look.

Enough to identify your business the way the directories see it. It takes about a minute.

You do not need to share passwords or give anyone access to your accounts. The scan works from public information and the details you give us here.

  • You send the details

A minute of typing. No account, no card, no passwords.

  • We run the scan

A person checks your business against the supported surfaces.

  • You get the report

By email, in plain language after review.

  • You decide

Fix it yourself with what we found, or let us handle it from $990 a year.

Questions
before you ask.

The honest answers, including the ones that might talk you out of buying anything.

Is this actually free, or is it free until you ask for a card?

Yes. No card, subscription or purchase is required. We check the available public listing information and explain what we find. You can use the report to make corrections yourself, share it with your current provider or ask us about ongoing management.

Why is it not instant? Other sites scan my website in five seconds.

A person reviews your business details against the supported listing sources and follows up by email. It is not an instant automated report. For an immediate starting point, the self-check on this page scores your own answers; it does not look up your listings.

Do I have to give you access to my Google account?

No. The scan works from public information and the details you provide, so you do not need to share passwords or add anyone as a manager to request it. Access only becomes relevant later, and only if you decide to have us maintain the presence. At that point Google and Facebook both require you to connect your own accounts before anyone can manage them on your behalf, including us. That is their rule rather than ours and it exists to protect you. You keep ownership of your business identity throughout.

What if the scan finds nothing wrong?

Then we tell you that, and you have saved yourself a monthly bill. It happens. A business that moved once, has one phone number, has never rebranded and has an owner who keeps an eye on it can be in genuinely good shape. In that case the useful advice is usually to check again after anything changes, because changes are what create drift. We would rather be the people who told you that than the people who invented a problem to bill against.

What do you do with my information?

We use it to run the scan and to send you the result. The details you send are business contact details that are already public in most cases, which is exactly why the scan is possible. We do not sell your information, and asking for a scan does not sign you up to anything. If you decide not to proceed, that is the end of it. If you want the details removed from our records afterwards, ask and we will do it.

We already pay someone for local SEO. Is this useful?

It can be, as a second opinion, and you are free to take the report straight to them. One thing worth knowing first: if your listings are currently managed under contract by another listings provider, there may be records we cannot take over until that arrangement ends, and the scan may not be able to tell you everything about what they control. We will flag that if we see it. A scan showing that your current provider has your information correct everywhere is a good outcome. It means you are being looked after and you have evidence of it.

Already know it
needs fixing?

Get Found handles it for $990 a year, or $99 a month. One business location, no setup fee, no contract.

Scan availability and connected surfaces depend on your country, business category and eligibility, and are confirmed before any work begins. Platform rules change. Page reviewed September 21, 2026.
