HighLevel pricing starts at $97 a month for an agency account with three sub-accounts, and that is only the first line of the bill. HighLevel, which many people still search for as GoHighLevel, adds AI Employee plans per location, bills phone and text usage separately and sells add-ons for things like clinical privacy. This guide adds up what a month really costs, from HighLevel's own pages, read on October 11, 2026.
You can try HighLevel (we earn a commission if you buy through this link) yourself, or have someone set it up for you. We do the second, and we will tell you which one fits.
What the plans are built around
HighLevel is organized as an agency account that holds sub-accounts. Each sub-account is one business or location. The plan you buy is the agency account.
Three details from the pricing page are worth knowing:
- Unlimited contacts and users on every plan. You are not charged per seat or per contact.
- Month to month. HighLevel says there is no long-term contract, and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the dashboard.
- A 14-day free trial. Billing starts automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel, and HighLevel notes that usage-based telecom or third-party fees can apply during the trial.
If you run one business, the Starter plan's three sub-accounts is plenty. If you want to run systems for many clients, the Unlimited plan removes the cap. Agency Pro adds automated sub-account creation for people who plan to resell the software.
The part the plan price does not include
Here is where the real bill forms.
AI Employee, per location. HighLevel's AI features are priced separately for each location that turns them on. According to its help center, modified September 28, 2026:
- AI Employee Growth, $50 a month per location. It includes 1,000 Conversation AI responses a month and 100 Voice AI minutes a month, with unlimited Reviews AI and Content AI.
- AI Employee Unlimited, $97 a month per location. It covers unlimited Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Content AI, subject to HighLevel's fair use policy.
- Pay as you go. No subscription fee. You are billed for what the AI products use.
Phone and text usage. HighLevel says phone system charges for calls and texts are billed separately on every plan. A busy phone adds to the bill.
Add-ons. The pricing page lists them by the month. The ones a service business is likely to meet:
| Add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| HIPAA compliance | $297 a month |
| Premium support | $500 a month |
| White label mobile app | $497 a month |
| SEO | $79 a month per sub-account |
| Online listings management | $30 a month per sub-account |
| Dedicated email IPs | $59 a month per IP |
| WordPress hosting | From $10 a month per site |
A few features are not metered per month. HighLevel lists Workflow AI, Funnel AI and Email AI as free, and Agent Studio is pay-per-use on every plan. HighLevel also warns that pricing and model availability may change, so confirm the numbers in the app before you commit.
Three bills, added up
Here is how those numbers combine. These are illustrations built from the published prices, not quotes, and they leave out phone and text usage, which depends on your volume.
The arithmetic is plain: $97 plus $50 is $147 for one business on AI Employee Growth, and $97 plus $97 is $194 on AI Employee Unlimited. A clinic that needs the HIPAA add-on adds $297, so $97 plus $97 plus $297 is $491. A small agency running ten locations on the $297 Unlimited plan with AI Employee Growth on each pays $297 plus ten times $50, which is $797.
None of that includes your time. Setting up the system, writing the AI prompts, connecting phone numbers and registering texting is real work, and it is why most small businesses end up with someone else running it.
Should you buy it yourself?
HighLevel's pricing page says the platform is designed to replace multiple subscriptions and that many users replace their CRM, funnel builder, email tool, scheduler, text marketing tool and review management software. That is HighLevel's description, and whether it fits depends on your business.
Run it yourself if
- You enjoy building automations and testing them.
- You can spend the first weeks learning the setup.
- You are comfortable registering phone numbers and handling text consent.
- You plan to learn it as a skill for your own business.
Have it set up for you if
- You would rather answer customers than configure software.
- You want the systems built for your trade on day one.
- You need privacy add-ons or compliance handled correctly.
- You want one monthly price and someone to call.
If you want to test it, the free trial is the cheapest way to see whether the setup suits you, and you can start through HighLevel (we earn a commission if you buy through this link). If you would rather not, that is what we do. We install and run systems on HighLevel, and on HubSpot or the CRM you already use, because we are a systems firm and we work with the stack you have. Our Essential AI voice agent plan is $449/month with 600 minutes of calls, free setup, no contract, and it includes a customer system, a website and a phone app. Free setup applies to the agreed answering service. A wider CRM deployment, migration or connected workflow has its own written scope and price.
Do this before you pay
- Count your locations. AI Employee is priced per location.
- Decide which AI you need. Answering calls, replying to texts and asking for reviews are different features.
- Estimate your calls and texts. Usage is the part of the bill the plan price hides.
- Check for add-ons. A clinic needs the privacy add-on. Most others do not.
- Use the trial. Fourteen days is enough to know whether you will actually build it.
