Top-rated: 5.0 on Google

## Your next customer is on the subway, *deciding who to call.*

They searched, tapped three results and opened three tabs. They are not reading your mission statement. They are scanning for four things, and the first site that answers all four gets the call.

1. 1 That you do the exact job they need.
2. 2 That you work where they are.
3. 3 That other people trust you.
4. 4 How to reach you, right now.

A site that hides even one of them loses the call. We build pages that answer all four before the first scroll.

## One customer’s route *through your website.*

Think of the site as a transit line. Every stop has one job. Miss a stop and the customer gets off, usually at a competitor’s.

1. Stop 1 ### Search Types “emergency plumber Leslieville” or “accountant near me” into a phone. **We build** Useful pages for your services and real coverage, chosen around customer searches. Improve an existing page before adding another that answers the same question.
2. Stop 2 ### First screen Decides in a few seconds whether you are the right kind of business. **We build** A headline in plain words, the areas you cover, real imagery and one obvious next step.
3. Stop 3 ### Proof Looks for a reason to trust someone they have never met. **We build** Reviews, credentials, guarantees and finished work, placed right where the doubt shows up.
4. Stop 4 ### The ask Calls, texts, fills in a form or picks a time. **We build** Tap to call, a short form that asks the right questions, and online booking where it fits.
5. Stop 5 ### The reply Waits to hear back, and wonders if anyone saw it. **We build** An instant confirmation, every enquiry in one inbox for your team, and reminders before the appointment.
6. Stop 6 ### The review Finishes the job happy, and moves on with their day. **We build** A review request at the right moment, so the next customer sees what this one thought.

## Built for Toronto, *specifically.*

A website for a Toronto business has a few local facts to get right. Here is what we plan for.

### A city of many languages, where nearly everyone reads English.

**42%** have a mother tongue other than English or French **1 in 4** speak one most often at home **95.5%** can hold a conversation in English or French

So write short sentences in plain English, let prices and photos do some of the explaining, and add a second language only where your customers really are. A clear English page beats a machine-translated one.

### Ontario’s accessibility law applies to many business websites.

Ontario requires designated public-sector organizations and businesses or non-profits with 50 or more employees to meet specified WCAG 2.0 Level AA requirements for public websites and applicable content, with stated exceptions. We scope the accessibility requirements and testing with you. Readable contrast, keyboard access and clear forms belong in the design from the start.

### Follow-up messages need consent in Canada.

Commercial emails and texts may fall under Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL). Consent, sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism generally matter. We plan the form wording, consent records and message types with you; a reply to an enquiry and a later promotion are not automatically the same permission.

### The GTA is many markets, not one.

A customer in Brampton searches differently from one in the Annex. If you serve the wider GTA, we first make your real coverage clear. A separate city page earns its place when it explains a distinct service or buying decision. Our own pages for [Mississauga](https://www.thequietprotocol.com/service-areas/mississauga), [Brampton](https://www.thequietprotocol.com/service-areas/brampton), [Markham](https://www.thequietprotocol.com/service-areas/markham) and [Vaughan](https://www.thequietprotocol.com/service-areas/vaughan) show the approach.

## Designed for the business, *never from a template.*

Each site starts from what the business sells and who buys it. A clinic should feel calm. An advisory firm should feel steady. A studio should let the work speak.

**Form** An architecture studio, where the work does the talking.

**Alder** A private advisory practice, quiet and certain.

**Still** A wellbeing clinic, calm from the first screen.

## How a redesign *actually runs.*

Five steps, in order, with a written price before any work starts. The launch date is in your proposal.

1. ### A call Thirty minutes, free. We look at your current site, how customers reach you today, and what the website should be doing.
2. ### A written proposal The level we recommend, the price, what is included and a launch date. Nothing starts until you agree.
3. ### Words and design We write your pages and design them around your real content. You review actual pages, not placeholder text.
4. ### Connections and testing We connect the phone, the forms and the booking, then test them the way a customer would.
5. ### Launch and care We move you over, redirect your old addresses so you keep what Google already knows, then host and look after the site.

## What owners tell us *after launch.*

## Questions owners ask us

**How much does website design cost in Toronto with The Quiet Protocol?**

The Essential Website is $99/month for hosting and care, free design and build. Custom builds start with the Smart Website at $2,395 setup, then the Conversion Website at $4,995 and the Authority Website at $7,975. Each custom build runs on Platform Foundation at $197/month or AI Business OS at $497/month. Prices are in USD.

**Can you redesign the website we already have?**

Yes. We keep what already works, including your domain, your best content and the pages Google already sends people to, and plan relevant redirects when URLs change. We check the important pages and contact routes after the move.

**Who owns the website?**

You own your domain, your content and your brand. We host and look after the site while you are on a plan.

**Can the website book appointments?**

Yes. With Platform Foundation, customers can book online and get a confirmation and a reminder, and your team sees every enquiry in one inbox. If booking is the main job, a Smart Website puts it at the centre.

**Will the website meet Ontario accessibility rules?**

We design for readable contrast, text that scales, forms that work with a keyboard and images with descriptions. If your organization has 50 or more employees in Ontario and needs formal WCAG 2.0 Level AA conformance under the AODA, tell us on the first call so it is part of the written scope.

**Do you only work with Toronto businesses?**

No. We are based in Toronto and work with service businesses across the GTA, the rest of Canada and the United States, all remotely.

**What do you check before the new website goes live?**

We follow the routes your customers will use: call from a phone, send an enquiry, and book a time where booking is included. We check that the message reaches your team with the right details. For a redesign, we also check important old links and the redirects agreed in your scope.

## Tell us what your website *should be doing.*

Thirty minutes, free, with our team in Toronto. You leave knowing what to keep, what to change and what it costs.
