# Avoca AI Alternatives for Home Service Companies: What to Compare Before You Book a Demo

Looking at Avoca for your HVAC, plumbing or roofing company? See what it publishes, what it leaves out, how alternatives compare and what to ask in writing.

![A vendor check grid with five rows of questions: is the price published, is the billing unit named, are the terms stated, is there an integration with your software and is a person named to tune it.](https://www.thequietprotocol.com/images/editorial/avoca-alternatives-home-service-companies-cover.webp)

If you search for Avoca, you are probably weighing an AI voice agent for your HVAC, plumbing, roofing or other home service company, and you want to know what else is out there before you book a sales demo. This guide lays out what Avoca says about itself, what it does not publish, and what to compare. We sell one of the alternatives, and we say where we are not the right fit.

Everything about other companies below comes from their own sites, read on October 7, 2026. Prices and features change, so check the current pages.

**The short answer** Avoca does not publish prices, so you cannot compare it until you book a demo. Ask every vendor for the billing unit, a quote on your own last 12 months of calls, the contract terms, what happens when booking fails, your emergency routing and the name of the person who tunes it. Then call each live line.

## What Avoca says it does

Avoca describes itself as an AI front office for service businesses. Its site lists three jobs: an AI customer service representative that answers inbound calls, texts and chats and schedules jobs; outbound campaigns by text and call to win customers back; and call scoring for managers. It lists trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, roofing, garage door, auto repair, remodeling, moving and restoration. It names a certified ServiceTitan app, plus Housecall Pro and FieldRoutes.

The site does not publish prices. The pricing page returns a not found error, and the calls to action are "Book a Demo" and "Talk to our AI." Some third-party articles quote monthly estimates, but those come from competitors and do not cite Avoca, so treat them as guesses. The only reliable number is the one you get in writing.

## Why owners look at other options

We cannot speak for every owner, and Avoca may suit you well. These are the questions that usually start the search:

- **You want a price before a sales call.** If you are comparing four vendors, a quote-only product takes the longest to compare.
- **You do not know how it is billed.** Per minute, per call and per unique caller give different bills for the same shop.
- **You do not use ServiceTitan.** A certified integration is a real strength only if it is your software.
- **You want to start small.** A single phone line and a handful of calls a day may not need a full front office.

## How the options compare on what is published

| Field service software | Certified ServiceTitan app, Housecall Pro, FieldRoutes | Names ServiceTitan | Not stated on the pricing page | A custom plan, not standard |

## Where we are not the right choice

If your office runs on ServiceTitan and you need two-way booking written straight into it, Avoca's certified integration is a reason to talk to them. Our standard plans do not connect to field service software. That is a custom plan, scoped and priced separately. If you want automated win-back campaigns by call, that is also custom for us, because outbound calling by an AI voice has consent rules in the United States and Canada.

Where we fit is a company that wants the phone answered at any hour, the job booked, the on-call person alerted by your rules and a price it can read today. Our plans include a CRM, a booking calendar, a starter website and a mobile app, and run on speech-to-speech voice models from OpenAI and Google.

## Ask any vendor these six things in writing

1. **What is the billing unit?** Minutes, calls or unique callers, and how are partial minutes and transfers counted?
2. **What would my last 12 months of calls cost?** Give them your phone records and ask for the number.
3. **What is the contract?** Length, notice period and what happens to your number and data when you leave.
4. **What does it do when booking fails?** If the software is down or the slot is gone, does the caller get a clear next step?
5. **Which emergencies does it route, and to whom?** Ask for your gas smell, burst pipe or active leak rule in writing.
6. **Who tunes it after launch?** Ask for the name of a person, not a help center.

Then call the live line of each one. Interrupt it, change the address, ask a repair price and ask for a person. Ten minutes on the phone tells you more than a feature list.

## Where to start

Collect your call log, write your emergency rule in one paragraph and pick two or three vendors from the table, including one at each price level. ## Frequently asked questions

### Does Avoca publish its pricing?

No. Its site uses "Book a Demo" and "Talk to our AI" rather than a price list, and the pricing page returns a not found error as of October 7, 2026. Third-party estimates exist but are not Avoca's own, so get the number in writing.

### What integrations does Avoca list?

Avoca lists a certified ServiceTitan app, plus Housecall Pro and FieldRoutes. Check that the one you use is supported for the booking behavior you need.

### Is there an Avoca alternative with a published price?

Yes. Sameday and Rosie publish plans, and so do we. Prices, minutes, contract terms and integrations differ, so compare them using your own call log.
